Didn't think you could make your own Caesar salad dressing? Of course you can. You can make anything. And, as usual, this one tastes even better than the one at the store. Prepare to be amazed!
- 1/3 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp minced garlic (or more if you love garlic like me!)
- 1 tsp anchovy paste
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- Splash Worcestershire sauce (optional)
- Whisk all ingredients in a small bowl until well combined.
The beauty of homemade dressings is that you can customize as you like. If there's on thing I've noticed about Caesar dressing, it's that everyone likes theirs a little different! I like mine garlicky and peppery, so I up those ingredients. Make variations as you see fit after tasting: for more tang, add more lemon juice. Like more salt? Add more anchovy. Accidentally made too many variations? Add more mayo to get it back to basics. And to thin it out, don't be afraid to add a splash of water or olive oil!
